Rum Riddimz Run was set up by two students in 2018 to celebrate their love of sound system culture and underground music genres. Started as a passion project, RRR has grown into much more than this, selling out almost every event thus far. RRR has established itself as a cornerstone of the local music scene, carving out its own place in Liverpool’s music culture. The brand has stayed true to its roots by championing local grassroots venues and musicians and the events also support a wider ecosystem of freelancers, venues, technicians, and aspiring musicians.

More than anything, we hope that our passion for sound system culture is evident at our events, where we bring in sound system crews from all over the UK with hand-built speakers made for reggae music. We hope to allow people to experience music in a completely new way. RRR events are positive, inclusive, and safe environments where anyone can come and enjoy underground music. We’ve created a ‘family’ or community feel at our events, where people recognise our work and feel an affinity to RRR as a result.
